Wireframing – Showhouse Clients
Goal: Have a single area to showcase special events.
For this client I needed to help establish a new set of patterns for photography collections. In this case, the collections were part of individual events over multiple years. These wireframes were to help the creative director understand the functionality of the new patterns without them being distracted by the beauty photography.
Patterns for photography collections
Top Level View – Parent page
Working with the Creative Director I offered several different versions of a parent page for event type categories. Working through different ideas, this is the one they settled on as their ask was clean, simple, and traditional.
Event View – Child page
Adding a variation on their already established memo pages, I added a new section that allowed more information on the designers they worked with as well as the event.
Image View – Overlay page
Working with the Creative Director, they wished to have a full-size beauty shot open with an easy way to navigate through all the images without going back to the event view. I also included an easy way to order the products that were seen in the image.
